NEW! Innovative Technology Solutions for Disaster Preparedness Tradeshow - Calit2@UCI Partners Calit2@UCI is partnering with industry, first-responders and government agencies to develop “smart spaces” that utilize innovative technologies and offer interoperability solutions. Researchers have built a test bed in and around the Calit2 building, in which advanced software and hardware technologies are being scrutinized and refined. This proving ground and several breakthrough prototypes will be on display 5:30-8:30 p.m. March 1 at the Calit2 Building. Tradeshow Participants Researchers will share high-tech devices like the Evac-Pack, mobile sensing platforms, people counters and multi-function building sensors, demonstrating how they access and disseminate critical information to the right people at the right time. |
