Job Description:

Dr. Paul Blair earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California , San Diego in 2002, his M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of California , San Diego in 1997, and B.S. degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Michigan State University in 1995.  He is currently working as an Assistant Project Scientist with the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology at the University of California , San Diego .  His research is focused on the design and development of wireless systems to support new applications in healthcare, accessibility, and human interface design.  He has additionally worked as a consultant for several Southern California technology companies, including one which is building an infrared high speed data communication network.

He has an international patent pending for a “Customizable User Interface for Electronic Devices.  His publications include:
