03.04.05 – The UC Irvine division of Calit2 continues to grow its administrative staff with the addition of two new employees.

Stephanie Campbell joined the staff Feb. 14 as division assistant.  Stephanie, who greets Calit2 visitors at the front desk, previously worked as a medical office receptionist. She is responsible for general office support, including scheduling, phones, supplies and reimbursements.

Irma Rodriguez joined the Irvine Calit2 staff in February.

Stephanie lives in Mission Viejo with her husband, Scott, and their cat, Wylie. She is relatively new to Southern California , having moved from Lake Tahoe 1-1/2 years ago in search of warmer weather. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, especially mysteries, and working on scrapbooks.

Irma Rodriguez is the division’s new financial assistant. She joined the staff Feb. 28, after having worked on campus for three years in the biomedical engineering department as a contracts and grants bookkeeper. She works with Financial Manager Lisa Rehbaum , paying invoices, helping with payroll and maintaining the division’s financial records.

Irma, who lives in Foothill Ranch, comes from a large family – she has three sisters, one brother, three nieces and a nephew – and the clan gathers every weekend at her parents’ home in Westminster . In her spare time, she enjoys walking and/or running in charity-sponsored races. She also takes pleasure in riding her electric scooter and babysitting her niece, who lives “only 120 steps” from her.

Stop by and introduce yourself to Stephanie and Irma the next time you’re visiting Calit2 Irvine.
